Zainab Ali Ahmad is a Research Analyst with the Poverty & Equity Global Practice at the World Bank Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Finance Hub in Kuala Lumpur. She focuses on different dimensions of poverty and inequality, including the cost of living, income mobility, and multidimensional poverty. Her previous work involves analyzing the livability of low-cost flats for youths in Kuala Lumpur, in line with the National Housing and Community Policy. Zainab has a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MA in Public Policy from the University of Malaya.
