Zander Prinsloo works in Global Poverty and Inequality Data within the Development Data Group (Indicators and Data team) at the World Bank, where he is contributing to work on the Poverty and Inequality Platform (PIP). Zander also conducts research on the estimation of poverty dynamics while accounting for measurement error using survey data. Before joining DECDG, his work on the private sector addressed the financial needs of flexible workers in the gig-economy. Zander is from South Africa and holds a master’s degree in economics from Stellenbosch University.
