Zirra Banu spearheads external affairs, analysis and operational outreach for various World Bank Group teams. She has developed expertise in policy analysis, conflict management, and interagency diplomacy working in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. She holds MAs in International Economics and Relations from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and BAs in Political Science and International Relations from Wartburg College. She has passions for development, economics, education, data for impact and behavior change, and conflict resolution.
