Ziv is an economist in IFC’s Middle East, Central Asia, Turkey, Pakistan, and Afghanistan (MCT) region providing macroeconomic analysis, country diagnostics, strategies, and climate analytics that inform IFC investments and mobilization of private capital for development. He was previously an economist in the World Bank’s Macroeconomic, Trade, and Investment Global Practice covering Zambia and Lesotho and an economist in the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa covering the Africa region. He has a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and has published in academic journals in the areas of finance and economic development.
