Zuhra has over 20 years of experience in supporting the governments in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Western Balkans in designing and implementing public sector reforms through advisory and analytical work and capacity building. Before joining the Bank, Zuhra worked on a number of assignments in the areas of public financial management, strategic planning and policy development and human recourse management under the auspices of the EU, USAID and other development partners. Zuhra is supporting the Governance analytical and advisory activities in BiH in the areas of public sector performance and productivity, digitalization of services, governance of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) and governance of health and education sectors. She also supports reforming Croatia’s public sector wage system, as well as regional activities related to increasing access to justice for vulnerable groups and strengthening fiscal transparency in the Western Balkans. Zuhra holds an MBA degree from the University of Delaware and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in economics from University of Sarajevo, BiH.
