Charlotte Nan Jiang is a Senior Economist in the Global Indicators Group of the Development Economics Vice-Presidency. She joined the World Bank in 2008 and has held various roles since then. Charlotte advises on the Global Indicators Group’s programs and operations, including the World Bank Group’s flagships on the global business environment and women’s economic empowerment, as well as the world’s most comprehensive enterprise surveys. She also supervised the World Bank Group’s former flagship Doing Business project. Before joining the World Bank, Charlotte worked in Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking. A Chinese national, Charlotte holds an M.Sc. in Management Science (Economics and Finance) from Stanford University and B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
