Charlotte Nan Jiang is the Advisor of the Global Indicators Group in the Development Economics Vice-Presidency. She joined the World Bank in 2008 and has held various roles since then. Charlotte advises on the Global Indicators Group’s programs and operations, including the World Bank Group’s flagship initiatives on the global business environment, Business Ready, and women’s economic empowerment, Women, Business and the Law, as well as the world’s most comprehensive Enterprise Surveys. She also supervised the World Bank Group’s former flagship project, Doing Business. Before joining the World Bank, Charlotte worked for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in London. She holds an M.Sc. in Management Science (Economics and Finance) from Stanford University and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
