Silvia Malgioglio is a Social Scientist in the Poverty and Equity GP’s global team, which she joined in 2016. She oversees a portfolio of household surveys adopting the SWIFT rapid poverty estimation methodology, works on survey design and implementation across regions and on global World Bank products for poverty and shared prosperity monitoring. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked for a UK development consulting firm managing a portfolio of private sector development programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Silvia holds an MSc Development Management from the London School of Economics and has worked extensively in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
