Andy Shuai Liu is an External Affairs Officer with the World Bank's East Asia and Pacific (EAP) Region. Prior to this role, he was Communications Officer for the Urban Development, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Land Global Practice. Previously, he worked as an Online Communications Associate on agriculture and rural development, as well as energy and the environment.
Before joining the World Bank, Andy served as a production manager, anchor, and reporter with China Central Television in Beijing, China, and as a senior Chinese editor and English contributor for the International Journalists' Network in Washington, D.C.
Andy studied Public Diplomacy at the Maxwell School and the Newhouse School of Syracuse University in New York, where he earned his Master's degrees in international relations and public relations. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Communication University of China.
