For example, he updated the Shock Waves model, which projects climate change impacts on global poverty and shared prosperity, using newer household survey data. Bramka is currently wrapping up his PhD at Delft University of Technology, with a thesis titled “Model-based approaches to support equitable delta adaptation planning”. In his PhD, Bramka developed an integrated impact assessment model to evaluate the efficiency and fairness of alternative adaptation policies for rice farmers in the Vietnam Mekong Delta. In addition to his main research subject, Bramka also conducted studies on transport network resilience and criticality analysis, with a case study in Bangladesh.
