Camilla Holmemo is the World Bank Program Leader for Human Development in Indonesia and Timor-Leste, based in Jakarta, where she coordinates and leads work on human capital, social protection and basic service delivery. Camilla has led analytical work and World Bank supported operations in Africa and Asia, including a $500 million investment to support a national social safety nets program in Nigeria and two large multi-billion dollar social protection programs in Ethiopia – the Productive Safety Nets Program and the Promoting Basic Services Program. She has also worked on human development and community-driven development initiatives in Vietnam, Laos, Pakistan, the Philippines, Afghanistan, the Solomon Islands, and Sierra Leone.

Camilla holds an M.A in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies,  and a B.A. in Economics and Russian from the University of Oslo, Norway.
