Claire Chase is an Economist with the Water Practice. She leads a range of analytical work and impact evaluations, mostly in East Asia. Her current work focuses on enhancing the nutritional impact of water supply and sanitation investments, service delivery mechanisms to increase adoption of sanitation, and results verification in PforRs. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was a visiting researcher with the Barcelona Center for International Health Research in Mozambique and spent six years in private sector consulting. She holds a Masters Degree in Population and International Health Economics from Harvard University and has authored peer-reviewed publications on a range of health and development topics.
