Girma Woldetsadik is a Senior Education Specialist in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice, based in Ethiopia. He joined the World Bank in 2009 and has since worked on different education sub-sectors, including early childhood development, general, and post-secondary education. He is currently co-task team leader for General Education Quality Improvement Project phase 2, General Education Quality Improvement for Equity, Ethiopia Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence project, and East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project. Prior to joining the World Bank, Girma worked as a social development specialist in the African Development Bank’s Ethiopia country office. Girma holds an MSc in Human Resources Development from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
