Helena Goetsch is Jr Professional Officer in the World Bank’s Transport Global Practice. She works on urban transport projects in India and Sri Lanka, with a particular focus on non-motorized transport. Further is she involved in railway projects and studies, as well as the Transport GP’s Flagship Report on electric mobility. Through managing the Railways Solution Area she supports the Bank’s railway portfolio through knowledge dissemination and outreach. Before joining the World Bank, Helena was a researcher at the University of Amsterdam focused on policy learning in sustainable urban mobility. Helena holds master’s degree in Spatial Planning from the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien).
