Mayra has over twenty years of experience in designing and implementing projects on private sector development, both at The World Bank Group (WBG) and at the Government of El Salvador. She is a team leader of regional trade facilitation projects in Central America. Before joining the WBG, Mayra worked for several years as Executive Director of “El Salvador Eficiente”, a public-private program at the Technical Secretariat of the Presidency of El Salvador. Mayra holds an MBA from the University of Delaware, USA, and other post graduate studies from universities, such as Georgetown University and Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey.
