Dr. Nancy Vandycke is an Economic Advisor in the Infrastructure Transport Global Knowledge group within the World Bank. Currently, Nancy leads a portfolio of innovative global programs, including the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) initiative—a global coalition that unites more than 50 international organizations and private companies worldwide to transform the future of mobility and the global partnership on data and impact evaluation. She has led policy engagement on transport, energy, climate change, and sustainable development in countries worldwide. In recognition of her thought leadership on the transport-energy nexus, Nancy was invited to serve as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Council on Advanced Energy Technologies. Before joining the World Bank, she worked at the International Monetary Fund and the Center for Economic Policy. She was an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Georgetown University and the London School of Economics, where she obtained her PhD. in economics. She was named one of the top global influencers by the German-led Transforming Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI), showcasing remarkable women in transport.
