RUSSELL HILLBERRY is a senior economist in the Development Economics Research Group, Trade and International Integration Team. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2012, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia. His research focuses on trade costs, trade facilitation and global supply chains. He received a BS from the University of Minnesota, and an MA and Ph.D. from Indiana University.
