Country-level trends in remittance flows:

  • Remittances to Bangladesh increased 0.9% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date increase is 7%.
  • Remittances to Colombia declined -3.2% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date decline is -12.8%.
  • Remittances to Dominican Rep. increased 4.5% y-o-y in March. Year-to-date increase is 5.5%.
  • Remittances to El Salvador increased 1.8% y-o-y in June. Year-to-date increase is 2.5%.
  • Remittances to Guatemala increased 13.1% y-o-y in June. Year-to-date increase is 2.5%.
  • Remittances to Honduras increased 6.4% y-o-y in June. Year-to-date increase is 1.9%.
  • Remittances to Jamaica increased 7.1% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date increase is 6.3%.
  • Remittances to Mexico increased 12% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date decline is -4.6%.
  • Remittances to Morocco declined -0.2% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date increase is 12.8%.
  • Remittances to Nepal increased 21.5% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date increase is 19.9%.
  • Remittances to Nicaragua increased 5.4% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date increase is 3.3%.
  • Remittances to Pakistan increased 14.5% y-o-y in June. Year-to-date increase is 4.9%.
  • Remittances to Philippines increased 6.5% y-o-y in May. Year-to-date increase is 6.6%.
