Aarya Shinde is a Consultant with the Education Global Practice at the World Bank. She has worked on projects in the Middle East and North Africa, supporting the teams with analytical, research, and technical inputs. She contributed to the World Bank’s collaborative efforts on the COVID-19 Global Education Recovery Tracker. She is interested in the intersection of evidence and policy to improve learning outcomes, teacher professional development, and early childhood education.
Before joining the World Bank, Aarya supported Harvard University with research and analysis related to higher education and also worked on OECD’s TALIS Video Study. She has experience working as a teacher and an assistant school leader with Teach For India, an education non-profit in India that is a part of the Teach For All Network. She holds a Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelors in Economics from St. Xavier’s College in India.
