Amal has worked for more than 15 years in community engagement and social safeguards at the World Bank. Through her mission at the World Bank, Amal is collaborating with many government and non-government actors to implement several programs aimed at strengthening community accountability, managing social risks and improving land acquisition policies and practices. Amal received her MSc in Social Development from the University of London in 2006 and has worked in many related positions at a number of international donor organizations, NGOs and advisory institutions.
