Aurelie Rossignol is a Senior Environmental Specialist at the World Bank, leading green and blue economy initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean, including sustainable landscape management in El Salvador, REDD+ in Costa Rica, GCF Amazonia Viva, blue economy development across Central America, and most recently the Amazon Sustainable Landscape Regional program. 

Previously, she led environmental policy dialogue, climate adaptation programs, biodiversity conservation, and land restoration initiatives in Chad, securing international climate financing to address pressing environmental challenges. Before that, she worked in the Republic of Congo, advancing REDD+ policies, forest governance reforms, and climate-smart agriculture.

Aurelie Rossignol has worked across Latin America and the Caribbean, the Sahel, and Central Africa, focusing on sustainable forest management, climate resilience, environmental safeguards, and nature-based solutions, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected areas.
