Bernadette Gordyn is an urban development consultant in the Social, Urban,Rural and Resilience Global Practice. She works in the Latin America and Caribbean Region in projects related to urban upgrading, urban redevelopment, housing, energy efficiency, urban transport, and territorial development. She supports the urban portfolio in Argentina and provides technical assistance to other projects in the region.Previously, she worked as an urban planning specialist in UN-Habitat and advising local governments in the areas of urban planning, urban regeneration and slum upgrading. She is professor of urban planning in the University of Buenos Aires.
Bernadette holds a master’s in urban planning from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and KU Leuven and an Architecture degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
