Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist

Christian is a Senior Water and Sanitation Specialist at the Water Global Practice of the World Bank, with 35 years of experience working in rural water supply and sanitation and agriculture production and management. He joined the Bank in 2015 and is now the TTL for a project: “Sustainable Rural and Small Towns Water and Sanitation Project” and a TA  “Strengthening DINEPA’s capacity to implement its water and sanitation sector reform strategy for rural areas & small towns at scale” in Haiti. Christian have worked nearly 25 years in West Africa for Danish companies and DANIDA (Danish Cooperation) and as an independent consultant. He has led analytical work in areas related to water management both for small irrigation, rural water supply, design of monitoring and budgeting models, fine herbs production and project management. Christian has a masters in Agronomy from the Royal Agronomy University of Copenhagen (Denmark).
