Christina Wright is an Education Operations Officer in the MENA region of the World Bank. Ms. Wright, a US national, joined the World Bank in 1991 and has worked in the education sector of MENA since 2000. Since then, she has worked on many of the regions countries, including Egypt, Kuwait, West Bank and Gaza, Algeria, Djibouti, Jordan and Lebanon. Ms. Wright was the Task Team leader for the Djibouti education portfolio and the focal point for Early Childhood Development in the region for several years. Her experience includes preparing and supervising World Bank loans/ grants and trust funds, and operational support for reimbursable technical assistance projects. Ms. Wright holds degrees in French and International Education from The College of William and Mary and The George Washington University.
