Claire Casher is a Research Specialist with the World Bank’s Identification for Development (ID4D) Initiative, which brings global knowledge and expertise across sectors to help countries realize the transformational potential of digital ID systems. She has extensive experience conducting impact evaluations in the development sector with World Bank, Duke University, USAID, and The Asia Foundation. She currently leads ID4D’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) program, which supports countries to build systems to collect, analyze, and apply data to reach their goals. Claire holds a Master’s of Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia.
