Deepika Chaudhery is a Senior Health, Nutrition and Population Specialist and is responsible for supporting World Bank nutrition related operations and advisory and analytical work in India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. More recently she has also provided operational and technical support to Yemen’s health and nutrition operations. She has over 20 years of experience in maternal and child nutrition and health in South Asia in technical and managerial capacities. Prior experience includes working as a Deputy Regional Director of the Nutrition International, Asia, where she led the development and delivery of nutrition and health programs in South Asia working closely with the country governments. She also worked as a Nutrition Specialist at UNICEF and CARE India. She has a doctorate in Public Health Nutrition from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India, and has several publications to her credit.
