Adama joined the World Bank Group in 2000. He has since held various positions with increasing responsibilities. He led major World Bank-supported reforms, analytical works, and operations which contributed to advancing agriculture productivity and competitiveness agenda in Africa and supported teams across the World Bank regions. Prior to joining the World Bank, he spent 10 years working with Senegal River Valley Irrigation Development Agency (SAED). Adama has led several publications with the World Bank, SAED and global research organizations.
