Fatoumata is a beneficiary of the West Africa Agricultural Productivity Program (WAAPP), from which she received a modern drying unit that allows her to dry up to 500 kilos of fruit per day.
In addition to support for processing activities and for the marketing of high-quality agricultural products, WAAPP goals include increasing production capacity, reducing post-harvest losses, and improving producers' income.
The project has helped reach more than 300,000 Guinean producers, of whom 42% are women and 27% are young people, and has increased their average yield by 30%.
