Jorge Luis Castaneda Nunez is an Economist with the Mind, Behavior & Development (eMBeD) Unit, at the WBG’s Development Impact Department (DiME), where he leads the behavioral work on Planet and Infrastructure global priorities, integrating behavioral science to the design and implementation of programs on access to clean energy and sanitation, sustainable waste management, and smart agriculture, among others. Throughout his career, he has acquired expertise in the fields of applied microeconomics, experimental economics, impact evaluation, and mixed-methods research. He holds a B.A. and a M.Sc. in Economics from the Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia.
