Kersten Stamm is an Economist in the Prospects Group of the World Bank's Development Economics Vice Presidency. He is one of the authors of the analytical chapters of the Global Economic Prospects report with a research focus on investment and potential output growth. Prior to joining the Prospects Group, Kersten worked on the distributional impact of private sector investments and global job quality measures in the World Bank's Poverty and Equity Global Practice Group and at the IFC and served as adjunct professor for international economics at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He holds a PhD in economics from Georgetown University.
