Leandro Costa is a Senior Economist at the World Bank in the Education Global Practice. He has experience in leading lending operations and analytical works to foster the development of human capital in Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa.
He is Brazilian and received his doctoral degree in Economics from the Federal University of Ceara in Brazil, specialized on economics of education, applied econometrics, and policy evaluation. Also, he participated in the graduate affiliate student program at the University College of London and was a visiting scholar at the University of Stanford.
