Maude Ruest is a Health Economist with the World Bank based in Sydney, Australia. As part of the Pacific Health team she works across a number of countries including Solomon Islands, Tonga, Kiribati, Vanuatu and Tuvalu. She has an MSc in Healthy Policy, Planning and Financing jointly from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She also has an MSc in Economics from the University of Montreal. She has co-authored the Health Financing Systems Assessment for Solomon Islands, Kiribati and Vanuatu. Between 2008 and 2010, Maude was an Overseas Development Institute Fellow with the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia.
