Nathan Engle is Senior Water Resources Management Specialist with the World Bank’s Global Water Department. Nate is responsible for operational and strategic engagements in several countries in the Eastern and Southern Africa region. He also helps to lead the Department’s drought services program and efforts to integrate resilience into water sector investments around the world. Nate completed his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources & Environment (now School of Environment and Sustainability), and earned masters’ degrees at the University of Michigan in Public Policy (MPP) and Natural Resources and Environment (MSc). He holds a BS in Earth Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University.
