Rohini Prabha Pande is a social demographer with over 25 years of experience in the areas of reproductive and adolescent health, gender inequality, and women's empowerment in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. She is currently senior consultant in the World Bank Group's Health, Nutrition and Population unit for West and Central Africa, where she is the demographer on the Sahel Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend (SWEDD) project. Rohini has a Sc.D. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MPA from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a BA in Economics from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi, India.
