Stephen is an international development and technology professional with over twenty years of management experience including innovation, new product development, fundraising, marketing and communications, client relationship management, strategic product planning, and delivery in e-Government services for development.
More recently, he has been leading efforts in support of the global transparency, accountability, results, open data, open government and open development agendas. Through work in partnership with the USAID, World Bank, the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), Open Aid Partnership (OAP), and the Open Government Partnership (OGP), he has established his organization as a leader and innovator in the open government space.
Stephen has also led breakthrough innovations including the creation of the OpenGov Hub in Washington, DC, the co-creation of FeedBack Labs and AidData.
Stephen has a Master’s in International Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a Bachelors of Science from Washington and Lee University.
