Maria Barron Rodriguez is a Research Analyst at the World Bank Group's Global Education Practice, where she is a member of the EdTech global team. She has more than seven years of experience working in the design, implementation, and evaluation of education policies at the national and international levels. Before taking up her current position, she worked as a researcher for the Research Improving Systems of Education (RISE) at the University of Oxford, and at education team of the UK Department for International Development (DFID). In addition, she has had practical experience in the implementation of innovation programs in the Ministry of Production, Ministry of Education and development NGOs in Peru. Maria is an Oxford-Weidenfeld Scholar and holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP), and a Master of Science (MSc) in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford.
