Rohini Prabha Pande is a social demographer with expertise in reproductive and adolescent health, gender inequality, and women's empowerment.  She has been a senior member of the Pakistan Gender and Social Inclusion Team in the South Asia Social Development group, and of other research teams on violence against women and women's economic empowerment in the region. In addition, Rohini worked with the ID4D group where she was a lead researcher for an ASA on gender and identification in Nigeria. Rohini recently moved to the Sahel Women's Empowerment and Demographic Dividend (SWEDD) and the Regional Disease Surveillance Systems Enhancement (REDISSE) Projects in the Africa Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) Global Practice. She has a Sc.D. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and an MPA from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
