An interdisciplinarian at the intersection of design and development, Samhir is part of the ICT Innovations team in the World Bank's Transport & ICT Global Practice. His mission is to help governments collaborate with citizens to improve public services using open, lean, and creative tools and methods. Samhir has organized several international entrepreneurship challenges as well as various open data, open innovation, and open hardware initiatives from Tanzania and Lebanon to Chile and Mongolia. He holds a BA in Political Science and an MA in Communication, Culture, and Technology, both from Georgetown University in Washington DC.
