World Bank Blogs gets a new makeover

Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of the redesigned blog platform on blogs.worldbank.org.  We hope it will help us provide a modern and engaging experience for the thousands of you who rely on our website for research, data, and knowledge to help you solve some of the world’s most challenging problems in your own line of work.

The new design is better for web accessibility, such as people with visual impairments who use screen readers to navigate the platform and is more mobile friendly  (some World Bank blog channels see as much as 50% of traffic from mobile).

Improved features include a cleaner design, streamlined navigation, a more robust search engine, threaded commenting, and more.

Please share your thoughts

As with anything new, it might take some time to get used to all the changes. It’s important that we hear from you about what’s not working. It’s also nice to hear what is.

This redesign incorporates feedback from our earlier beta phase. Sincere thanks to all who contributed their thoughts and feedback in our survey.

We are still looking to hear your feedback on the design. Please browse this new design and then fill out a short survey to provide feedback.

Thanks for being part of our blog community. Your recommendations and engagement are sincerely appreciated. We look forward to hearing from you.
