Today marks an important day. Over the last few months, we’ve been working hard to improve the design of for a better, more engaging experience for our blog community.

Today, we’re happy to announce the launch of our beta blogs site, showcasing the new design’s first phase.

The beta blogs site’s redesign will help us in providing a modern and engaging experience for the World Bank blog community.

The new design will be better for web accessibility and more mobile friendly (some World Bank blog channels see as much as 50% of traffic from mobile). Improved features include a cleaner design, streamlined navigation, a more robust search engine, and more.

Please share your thoughts

As part of this effort, we would love to hear your feedback on the beta blogs site to help us fine-tune the design before a full launch this spring.
Please visit the beta blogs site at this link. There, you can experience the beta and fill out a short survey to provide feedback.

Current platform will remain up during beta

As a heads up, the current platform is still “live” and where to go for the latest blog posts and conversations. The beta site will be a snapshot of posts as of March 19, 2019. Also, during the beta phase, the beta site will have certain features like the commenting function turned off to avoid technical issues.
The current blog platform will operate as it does normally until the final switch is made. Please continue your comments and conversations on our current until further notice. That content will be migrated to the new design prior to a full launch.

Thank you!

We pride ourselves on being an open and transparent organization. As with any new technology platform, there may be some technical bugs or hiccups, and the new design may take some getting used to. We want to hear from you about what’s not working and well as to hear about what is.
Please share your feedback on the beta site by leaving a comment on this blog post or in our short survey.
Thanks for being part of the blog community. Your insights and engagements are valuable and appreciated. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.
