Thea Yde-Jensen works with the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice, where she conducts research on issues related to livelihoods, labor market outcomes, and displacement in Afghanistan. Her expertise and research interests revolve around the causes and implications of inequality and poverty. She previously worked in the Europe and Central Asia Chief Economist Office where she contributed to regional studies focusing on issues related to employment, access to finance and international networks. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked in the International Monetary Fund’s Statistics Department and in the Department of Economics at Copenhagen Business School.
